About GNOSS

3. Web 2.0

GNOSS is a social site on the web cemented with links, purposes, projects and interests.

People in GNOSS can share, distribute, describe and characterize their resources of knowledge and also create them collaboratively; they can generate vocabularies and thesauruses, as well as use the collective tools of thinking and creation to reach agreements, identify scenarios and share visions. In short, they can all together develop a kind of global mind or system of ubiquitous intelligence. A global mind that, based on cooperation, deliberation, development of conversations and dialog, enables to face more successfully the processes of change and innovation which are typical of environments characterized by complexity, uncertainty and accelerated change.

GNOSS is a site that operates with a logic close to the human strategies of reasoning, thinking by analogy and discovery of knowledge. The final goal of GNOSS is to connect human intelligence with technological intelligence. As the content in GNOSS is finally made by individuals, GNOSS provides the context for developing a system of meaningful relationships based on interests and motivations.

The tools for the construction and management of digital identity and for the management of the presence in the different socio-digital spaces forming the GNOSS social site, enable the people to develop strategies for simultaneous sociability based on sharing and distribution of information, knowledge, motivations and interests. GNOSS is designed to facilitate the connection between the off-line identity (determined by the constrains of time and space) and its on-line widening and extension (where you can operate ubiquitously and simultaneously).
